Founded and run by Ger O’Neill, International Showjumper and three-time gold medal winner at the World Breeding Championships, Castlefield has become a name synonymous with excellence and integrity in the sport.
Ger’s career is marked not only by his own achievements in the ring, but also by his role as a coach. He has guided riders to gold medals at Pony, Junior, and Young Rider European Championships, and coached athletes right through to the highest levels of the sport, including Senior European Championships and Aga Khan appearances. His eye for talent, both equine and human, has helped shape champions across generations.
But Castlefield is more than results. It is a family home, shared with Ger’s wife Ali and their three children, who are all deeply involved with ponies and the sport. That family spirit flows through everything we do, creating a welcoming atmosphere where horses, riders, and owners alike feel part of something special.
